Macon woman robbed on Maynard Street

A Macon woman told police she was robbed at 4:50 a.m. Wednesday after returning home from the store with a friend. The victim, who lives on Maynard Street, reported when she returned to her residence after going to the store to buy medicine, a man “came out of nowhere” and demanded she “give it up.” The victim told police she complied and said the assailant did not show a weapon and was wearing a black shirt, black pants, a black hood and neon green shoes. After taking her purse, he ran through the bushes toward Fort Hill Street.
