Riverside Cemetery and the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail will unveil the trails newest section at 2:30 p.m. April 2 after a ceremony at the cemeterys gatehouse, located at the corner of Riverside Drive and Madison Street.
Groups affiliated with the funding and construction of the trails first section on the rivers west side, running through Riverside Cemetery and stretching north toward Amerson River Park, will be on hand for a ribbon cutting.
Live music will accompany the festivities, provided by the Bragg Jam, Macons summer music festival, which has been a major supporter of the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail since its beginning.
