Breezy conditions Wednesday will usher in freezing temperatures by Thursday morning.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory from noon until 8 p.m. Wednesday as sustained winds of up to 25 mph and gusts to 35 mph are possible Middle Georgia northward.
A freeze warning is posted from 11 p.m. Wednesday until 10 a.m. Thursday as the temperature is expected to dip in to the upper 20s in Macon.
New blooms and tender vegetation could be susceptible to the freezing temperatures.
