Frank Reeves, who was arrested in December for the fatal shooting of Jones County woman at a Gray Highway gas station, was released from the Bibb County jail just before 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night on $110,200 bond, according to the Bibb County jail website.

A Bibb County Superior Court judge granted a bond amount for Reeves last week, according to his attorney, Veronica Brinson.

The 73-year-old Reeves, who is confined to a wheelchair, is charged with felony murder in the Dec. 4 slaying of 65-year-old Linda Hunnicutt. Police say Reeves told them he thought Hunnicutt was trying to hit him with her car and he only meant to scare her when he fired his gun.

Reeves’ attorney Brinson, said last week that the judge agreed to grant Reeves bond if he lives with family, wears an ankle monitor and only leaves home for court and medical appointments.
