3 to be inducted in Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame

The Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame will induct three new members during an enshrinement banquet April 27 at the Museum of Aviation in Warner Robins.

The inductees are Ronald R. Alexander, an Air Force and Delta pilot from Griffin; Samuel Winn Baker, an aviator from Brunswick; and Lewis Jordan, of Atlanta, co-founder of ValuJet Airlines and AirTran Airways, according to a news release.

The banquet is open to the public, but seating is limited and by advance reservation only. It begins with a reception at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and the program at 7 p.m. Seats are $75 per person ($35 of that is tax deductible). For more information, call Nicole Bissette at (478) 328-0704.
