The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who robbed a woman at gunpoint Friday night.

The robbery happened about 9:30 p.m. at Summer Point Apartments, 4658 Mercer University Drive, according to a release. Witnesses said a man came from around the 600 building brandishing a small black gun. Without saying a word, the man grabbed the purse of a woman who was getting out of her car and fled.

The gunman was described as male, about 6 feet tall and with a slender build. He was wearing a black ski mask, a black “letterman” jacket and black gloves.
