An early Easter Parade this weekend will bring the Easter Bunny to Macon Mall.
The mall, at 3661 Eisenhower Parkway, is hosting its first Easter Parade & Spring Festival, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, with the parade beginning at 11 a.m., according to a news release.
The event will help kick off spring, and it will promote the theme Get Hoppin by encouraging children to become more active with an afternoon of activities. In addition to a lively parade around the mall -- beginning at Vision Savers and ending at center court -- exercises will be led by Sportz Quest Gym for Kids. Also, coloring tables will be set up with images of the Easter Bunny playing his favorite sports.
In addition, a kids fashion show will preview Easter fashions, face painting and a balloon artist will be available, as well as pictures with the Easter Bunny.
