Bibb County sheriff’s deputies have obtained arrest warrants for a pastor accused of raping a 16-year-old girl at his house on two occasions in mid-January.

Yohandry Bravo, 39, is wanted for aggravated child molestation and rape, said Jamey Jones, a sheriff’s office investigator.

Bravo is pastor of Ministerio Internacional Jesús es el Señor on Hawkinsville Road, which has a congregation of between 200 and 250 people.

His son, 15-year-old Jose, was killed Nov. 23, 2012, after he stepped onto Hawkinsville Road to retrieve a hat that had blown out of the car he had been riding in.

After his son’s death, a couple of families moved in with Yohandry Bravo and his family at their home across from Smiley’s Flea Market on Hawkinsville Road, Jones said.

A 16-year-old girl was among the new people in the Bravo home.

Bravo allegedly forced himself on her twice, Jones said.

Investigator still are working to determine whether Bravo had inappropriate contact with members of his congregation, Jones said.

Authorities are searching for Bravo, who is originally from Cuba. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call deputies at 746-9441 or Macon Regional CrimeStoppers at (877) 68-CRIME.

Bravo has been a pastor for 17 years, according to his Facebook page.
