Two people were shot in separate incidents late Thursday and early Friday in Macon.
One person was wounded in a shooting at the Villa West Apartments in the 4000 block of Mercer University Drive across from Macon Memorial Park, according to Macon police dispatchers.
The injury is not expected to be life-threatening.
Shortly before 2 a.m., a man was accidentally shot in the thigh when his weapon discharged when he was pushing a vehicle, dispatchers said.
No further information was immediately available in the two shootings, but Macon police are expected to release details once incident reports are complete.
