A Bibb County man was robbed at gunpoint Monday after two men with a gun kicked in the back door to his apartment in the 4000 block of Brookhaven Road, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The 71-year-old man told deputies he was asleep at about 7 p.m. when he heard a knock at the front door. Then he heard a loud bang and two men were inside his apartment, according to a sheriff’s office report released Thursday.

One of the men took him downstairs and asked about money while the other stayed near the back door. They took $230 and a cell phone, according to the report.
