A fund has been set up to offset costs for a Macon family that lost three children in a house fire early Sunday.

The Bibb County school system established the fund in memory of the Riley Elementary School students.

From Friday until March 8, donations will be accepted at any Macon branch of SunTrust Bank to help pay for funerals for the Williams children: 10-year-old Nykhiya, 9-year-old Jamarrian and 7-year-old Daija, according to a news release from the school system.

A 3-year-old sibling, J’Lon, survived the fire and was treated this week at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta.

Riley Elementary School Principal Kent Sparks said in the release: “I sincerely thank everyone for their prayers and support as we grieve the loss of three of our precious students.”

Donations will also help pay for medical costs, travel expenses and other financial needs the family has in the wake of the house fire.

Contributions can be mailed to: Williams Children Compassion Fund, c/o Joseph B. Riley Elementary School, 3522 Greenbriar Road, Macon, GA, 31204.
