GISA Final Four under way at Mercer

In the most thrilling game of the day so far at the GISA Final Four, Mount de Sales rallied to beat Westfield 47-41 in overtime. The Cavaliers will play in the Class AAA championship game Saturday.

Madi Mitchell scored 26 points as Crisp Academy beat Curtis Baptist 62-24 in the first GISA Class A girls semifinals game. The Wildcats will play either Citizen's Christian in the Class A title game at noon on Saturday.

Citizens Christian beat Georgia Christian 42-30 in the other GISA Class A semifinal. Kyndal Day scored 12 to lead the Patriots to the win.

Westwood was able to hold off Khady Dieng and the Gatewood Gators by hitting 25-of-27 shots from the foul line in a 62-43 win.

Arlington Christian will try to win its second straight state title after winning the Class AAA title last year, beating Terrell Academy 59-42 in the Class AA semifinals.
