Weather Channel meteorologist Jim Cantore makes last minute checks as a production crew set up a car to be dropped from the third floor of a parking deck at the Guardian Center in Perry. The Weather Channel was there filming some weather safety segments. This is was about how a tornado can pick a car up and drop it from as high as 100 feet. To illustrate they filmed this car as it dropped three stories. The car was one of three hundred donated by General Motors to the Guardian Center. The vehicles, damaged in Hurricane Sandy, were scheduled to be crushed but will now be used in training exercises at Guardian Center.
