WARNER ROBINS -- A pedestrian was struck and killed Friday night on Sam Nunn Boulevard near Charles Gray Boulevard in Perry, the Georgia State Patrol says.

Joe Craft, 45, of Perry, was walking west in the roadway about 9:51 p.m. when he was struck by a westbound Chevrolet Silverado driven by Jacob Westbrooks, 21, of Hawkinsville, said Georgia State Patrol Sgt. Crystal Griffin.

“It was an accident,” Griffin said. Craft “was wearing dark clothing. It was raining.”

No charges are expected, she said.
