Jennifer Delores Washington, 52, of 1749 Cedar St., was charged with felony murder after Kenneth Cray, 50, was found shot to death inside the residence at 7:46 p.m. Feb. 22. He came in choking me, and I shot him, Washington was quoted in the police incident report as telling police. The report did not give a narrative of the events or place the comment from Washington in context. The report does say police could not initially open the bedroom door because Crays body was blocking it on the other side. Jami Gaudet, Macon police public information officer, stated in an e-mail that no other information was being released because the investigation was ongoing. Cray, of Terry Kay Circle in Warner Robins, was pronounced dead on the scene. An autopsy showed Cray died of a single large caliber gunshot wound to the chest, Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones said.
