Roadwork could slow traffic this week on Interstate 75 in Monroe County and on state highways in Houston County.

Lanes will be closed Monday through Thursday on Interstate 75’s northbound lanes past the Pate Road exit. Crews will be sealing joints and repairing the road surface between mile markers 176 and 177.

Roadwork is scheduled to run Tuesday through Thursday between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. along the edges of Ga. 11, Ga. 96 and Ga. 127 in Houston County. Some lanes could be closed or use flagmen for safety.

Work is also slated for Ga. 257 in Dooly County.

Drivers should slow down in work zones.
