The market president at State Bank and Trust Co. has left the bank and some other executives have changed roles as part of the normal restructuring of the bank, according to a bank spokesman.
Mark Stevens, who was named Bibb County market president in December 2010, has parted ways with State Bank on amicable terms, and we wish him the very best, said David Rubinger with Rubinger Communications, representing the bank.
Eddie Wilson, formerly the Middle Georgia president, has assumed the market president role; and Spencer Strickland, former chief revenue officer, was named regional president.
Also Mike Henry, the regional credit manager, is leaving the bank on good terms as well, Rubinger said.
Hes staying on through the end of March to help with the transition period, Rubinger said.
All the position changes were announced Thursday.
Its all part of State Bank always looking for the best ways to deliver our services, and part of that is putting the right people in the right place, he said. And its all part of becoming a customer-focused bank and thats why different people take on different roles.
