A raid of a Perry residence Thursday resulted in three arrests and seizure of crack cocaine and marijuana, police said.
Patrick Bernard Sutton Jr., 21, of the 1300 block of W.F. Ragin Drive, was charged with trafficking cocaine and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, said Perry police Capt. Heath Dykes. Sutton also was charged with possession of tools used in connection with a crime.
Suttons mother, 44-year-old Jacqulyn Sutton, was arrested at their residence, Dykes said. She was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
Cordell Eugene Toomer, 27, of Perry, also was arrested on unrelated warrants from Centerville and Bibb County for alleged probation violations, Dykes said. The probation violations were related to traffic violations, he said.
About $8,000 worth of crack cocaine, $1,000 worth of marijuana and $1,600 in cash were seized in the raid, Dykes said. The raid was conducted by the Houston County Sheriffs Response Team, a tactical unit, and Perry police, Dykes said.
