The Bibb County school district will host its first Cinderella’s Wish List Dress Sale Friday and Saturday, where shoppers can find bargains on gently used formal dresses.

The sale will be held Friday from 4-6:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Welcome Center Annex, 2007-F Riverside Drive in Macon, according to a release.

The event, hosted by the district’s Career, Technical and Agricultural Education department, is a fundraiser for Bibb County’s 2013 CTAE Student of the Year Scholarship fund.

The Student of the Year receives a $500 scholarship, while the first and second runners-up are awarded $250 each.

The students will be recognized at a banquet on Tuesday at Central High School.
