WARNER ROBINS -- A Warner Robins police officer was involved in a minor wreck Wednesday morning, police said.

The crash happened in front of the old Green Street fire station at Holly Street when Officer Chris Fussell “dropped his bike,” which means the motorcycle came out from underneath him, Warner Robins police Maj. John Wagner stated in a text message. The fire station is now utilized by the police department.

The officer was checked out at Houston Medical Center as a precaution and released, Wagner said.

There was slight to moderate damage to the motorcycle’s motor, Wagner said. No other vehicles were involved, he said.
