This interactive map shows Middle Georgia dams already considered to be high-hazard (marked with a blue pin), and dams that are awaiting further study because they may be high-hazard (yellow pin). Click a pin to learn more about the dam, when and why it was built, who owns it and how big its impoundment is.

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources provided the information, but acknowledges it may not all be up to date. The Telegraph corrected several obvious errors. Some dams have incomplete information.
