Warner Robins is not home to the next “American Idol.”

Resident Summer Cunningham, 20, did not make the cut to be one of the top 40 contestants who will continue on to compete in the live shows, according to online reports. The final round of auditions aired Thursday night on Fox.

Cunningham, a sophomore at Georgia Southern University, generated considerable buzz during her earlier Charlotte audition. After her rendition of “Lean on Me,” the celebrity judges argued among themselves in spat that received a great deal of hype before and after the audition aired Jan. 23.
