A gunman robbed a Walthall Oil convenience store Thursday night in north Macon.
At about 10 minutes before 8 p.m., police were called to the store at 4433 Forsyth Road, which is not far from the split with Napier Avenue.
The clerk said a black man, dressed in black, wearing a hood, gloves and a bandana over his face, demanded money and ran away with the cash, according to a Macon police news release.
Police do not know in which direction the robber headed.
