A retired postal worker won $50,000 Thursday in a Georgia Lottery Jumbo Bucks Classic instant-win game.

Richard Jones, 49, told lottery officials that he gave a friend who was going to a store during his lunch break some money to buy a ticket. His friend bought the ticket at the Chevron Market, located at 1257 Riverside Drive in Macon.

Jones told officials he will use some of the money for Valentine’s Day plans.
