Traffic could slow on Arkwright Road in north Bibb County Tuesday morning.

Contractors will begin pouring the new bridge deck near Interstate 75 at about midnight Monday, if weather permits.

No lanes are expected to close, but crews will be working until about 8 a.m. Tuesday, according to a news release from the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Motorists should be extra cautious in the work zone as crews will be working very close to travel lanes and heavy equipment will be entering and exiting the area.
