Warner Robins Councilman Brashear holds town hall meeting

Published: February 12, 2013

WARNER ROBINS -- Councilman Mike Brashear talked to about 20 community members Tuesday evening at his first town hall meeting.

He said the council has worked harmoniously for the last year preparing the city for major growth and changes, and this year will see some of those plans come to fruition.

The overview of last year’s work included crossing arms at Ignico Drive, progress on the law enforcement center, more public safety officers, an update to the wastewater treatment plant and the start of sewer extension along U.S. 41.

He said the coming year will see plans for three parks ironed out and work beginning on some of those plans, as well as sewer extension along South Kimberly Road and a study of compressed natural gas.

Council members Mike Daley and Carolyn Robbins attended the event, which Brashear has said he hopes to hold regularly.
