A 52-year-old Macon woman was cut with a machete Monday during an argument about money at the Dempsey Apartments on Cherry Street, according to Macon police.

June Harvey, who lives at the apartments, told police a man struck her on the head, arms and other parts of her body with the machete, according to a police report released Tuesday.

Harvey met with police at The Medical Center of Central Georgia, but she is unwilling to press charges, according to the report.
