Houses shot up in south Macon

Macon police are investigating shootings late Sunday night on Charlotte Street, which runs between Houston Avenue and Broadway.

Officers were called to 872 Charlotte St. shortly before 7:30 p.m., and another shooting was reported near midnight at 956 Charlotte St.

No one was hurt, according to police dispatchers.

A man and woman who were inside the house at 956 Charlotte St. told police they didn’t see the shooter or shooters after bullets damaged the house and a vehicle outside, according to a Macon police report released Monday.
