Giuseppi’s Pizza and Pasta restaurant closes in Macon

Published: February 7, 2013

Nearly six years after it opened, Giuseppi’s Pizza and Pasta has closed its Macon store in Riverside Commons.

The business closed Feb. 1, said Stephanie Foster, property manager at Stafford Properties which manages the shopping center at 120 Tom Hill Sr. Blvd. The restaurant opened in July 2007, she said.

Foster declined to disclose why the restaurant closed.

Efforts to reach someone at Southeast Entertainment Restaurant Group, which owns Giuseppi’s, were unsuccessful. The only other locations for Giuseppi’s are in South Carolina.

The 3,318-square-foot space, which is adjacent to Five Guys Burger and Fries, is now available for lease, Foster said.
