WARNER ROBINS -- A 53-year-old Warner Robins man was sentenced to 15 years in prison without the possibility for parole for burglarizing Christian Fellowship Church.

J.D. Solomon also was sentenced to five years probation, a Houston County District Attorney’s Office news release stated. A Houston County jury convicted him Tuesday of the 2011 burglary.

Judge Edward D. Lukemire also banished Solomon from Houston County and all contiguous counties upon his release from prison.

About 11:30 p.m. on Sept. 4, 2011, Warner Robins police responded to a burglary alarm at the church, the release stated.

Solomon, who was standing near one of the church buildings that had a window broken out, was holding a ladder. The ladder was stolen from another church building, and his boots resembled the footprints left around the property, according to the release.

Solomon had five previous burglary convictions, the release stated.
