Macon police and Macon-Bibb County firefighters responded to a possible meth lab discovered late Tuesday on Brookdale Avenue, which is near Payne City off Vineville Avenue.

Officers were still on the scene early Wednesday, but had cleared the area by 5 a.m.

According to police, two bottles containing residue, 12 and 16 ounces respectively, were found on Brookdale Avenue.
