WARNER ROBINS -- After a win Friday night, Northside High School’s William Crouch will appear in the next round of the “Jeopardy!” Teen Tournament at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Crouch finished Friday with $10,800, guaranteeing him $10,000 and a spot in the semifinals. He watched the airing of his episode at Wow Cafe and Wingery surrounded by nearly 200 friends and family members.

“I already knew I had it in the bag,” Crouch said. Game-show contestants are not allowed to reveal the results of their appearances before the taped shows are aired.

After he won, students started chanting “William Crouch, William Crouch.”

“I’m not surprised,” said family friend Tim Baggerly. “William has always been so bright and outgoing.”

No party is planned for Wednesday because it is a church night.

“Jeopardy!” is aired on WMAZ-TV.
