38 Special to headline Cherry Blossom Festival Street Party

Platinum recording artists 38 Special will headline the Cherry Blossom Festival Street Party, to be held March 23 on Cherry Street, the Cherry Blossom Festival announced Tuesday.

The band, known for such hits as “Hold On Loosely” and “Caught Up In You,” has sold more than 20 million records to date and was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in 2012.

Other acts for the street party include the Knoxville, Tenn.-based The Dirty Guv’nahs; Atlanta Funk Society; and The Wild Feathers.
