Bibb County grand jurors indicted a Louisiana man Tuesday in connection with a March 7, 2012, robbery at Motel 6, 2690 Riverside Drive.

Jason Paul Stockstill, 42, is charged with robbery by sudden snatching, according to an indictment filed in Bibb County Superior Court.

Stockstill allegedly was staying at the motel and demanded money from a clerk at the registration desk. When the clerk didn’t comply, Stockstill jumped over the counter and took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register, Macon police have said.

Stockstill was released in May on $18,790 bond, according to county jail records.
