Remember the snow of 1973?

February 5, 2013

It’s been almost 40 years since Middle Georgia was blanketed by more than 16 inches of snow. The record snowfall closed schools and businesses and stranded people in their homes. The Telegraph would like to share your photos and memories of the snowstorm with other readers. Please e-mail your photos and comments to Ben Yoder,, by 5 p.m. Thursday.

The Telegraph is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news. Some of the comments may be reprinted elsewhere in the site or in the newspaper. We encourage lively, open debate on the issues of the day, and ask that you refrain from profanity, hate speech, personal comments and remarks that are off point. Thank you for taking the time to offer your thoughts.
