Six men and one woman face a number of charges after a search warrant was served at a house off Napier Avenue on Wednesday morning, according to the Macon Police Department.
The narcotics unit served a search warrant at 1108 Radio Drive about 11 a.m., and confiscated: a 12-gauge shotgun, four digital scales, an open box of 12-gauge shells, three marijuana grinders, a bag of marijuana, loose marijuana, two marijuana roaches, one round of 7.62 ammunition, a bag of unknown white pills and surveillance equipment, according to a news release.
According to the release, the four people arrested, who remained in jail Wednesday evening, were:
Lorenzo Shernard Simmons, 31, contempt of court, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of marijuana. Bond set at $7,000.
Maurice Wills, 27, possession of marijuana (misdemeanor). Bond set at $1,300.
Markiva Shontarzio Cox, 25, probation violation, giving false information to police, and possession of marijuana. Bond set at $1,950.
Contezs Jamal Burns, 20, possession of marijuana. Bond set at $1,300.
The three people who were cited and released were:
Nortory Rainey, 24, being present where drugs are kept/used/sold
Gregory Bowens, 49, being present where drugs are kept/used/sold
Temeko Mahone, 41, being present where drugs are kept/used/sold.
