Wesleyan cancels classes due to weather

As a tornado watch is extended to 8 p.m. for most of the state, Wesleyan College in Macon has cancelled classes and dismissed faculty and staff, according to a student announcement obtained by The Telegraph.

Officials encourage students living on campus to stay indoors until the storm passes. The college will re-open as scheduled Thursday.
