Videos produced for pre-K, central registration

The Houston County school district has created videos offering information about pre-kindergarten registration and the new central registration office on South Davis Drive next to Warner Robins High School. The videos are posted on the district’s website at www.hcbe.net and to the school system’s Facebook pages. Pre-K registration is Feb. 19 through March 15.

Peach choir invited to festival

The Peach County High School chorus has received an invitation to the Third Annual Heritage Festival of Bibb County. The choir was invited based on its achievements over the past year and a half and will participate Friday and Saturday in a two-day festival at the Douglass Theatre in Macon, according to a release.

The first day of the festival consists of higher achieving students taking part in an evening choral clinic, which will form the All-Douglass Choir. The 17 Peach students selected for the All-Douglass Choir are: Taylor Sizemore, Giona McEachern, Li’Piage Holt, Odessa Taylor, Aja Clark, Quintasia Lowe, Payton Ogletree, Ivannah Campbell, Emily Heath, Harold Jones, Kiel Jackson, Lucas Gray, David Hill, Bivens Walker, Jordyn Wytch, Jemuel Ramirez and Preston Price.
