Braves to stop in Warner Robins
The Atlanta Braves Country Caravan will be in Warner Robins Saturday.
Its the last stop of a nearly 3,000-mile tour for Braves players, coaches, broadcasters and front office staff as they hold a meet a greet with fans prior to spring training. The appearance will include free autograph signings.
Braves scheduled to appear are: Ryan Klesko, Phil Niekro, Eddie Perez and Greg Walker.
We look forward to our annual Braves Country Caravan as a time to provide our fans throughout the Southeast an opportunity to interact with our manager, coaches and players and to express our gratitude for their loyalty and support, Atlanta Braves President John Schuerholz said in a news release.
The Warner Robins event will take place 4:30-6 p.m. at Academy Sports and Outdoors, 2907 Watson Blvd.
Recreation department to hold Father-Daughter Dance
The Warner Robins Recreation Department will host its first Father-Daughter Dance Feb. 16, according to a news release.
The dance will take place 6-8:30 p.m. at the Wellston Center, 155 Maple St. It is for girls ages 5-12 along with their fathers or favorite male guardian who is 18 or older. The theme is glitz and glamour.
Tickets must be purchased by Feb. 8 and are $20 per couple and $5 for each additional daughter.
