One of two Macon police officers charged with stealing a tractor who resigned during the weekend is back in the Bibb County jail, according to the jail website.

Troy Guidry, 41, of Juliette, was arrested 4:30 p.m. Monday and charged with two felony counts of theft by taking, two counts of altered vehicle identification numbers and one count of fiduciary theft. He was released on $18,050 bail just before 9:30 p.m. Monday night.

Guidry and Jon Wantz were accused last week of stealing a tractor worth nearly $25,000 from a Macon plumbing business late Wednesday or early Thursday. The owner said he used a GPS to locate the tractor at Guidry’s home in Monroe County.
