ATHENS - Now that we're back to knowing that Georgia will open the season against Clemson on a Saturday, and we're pretty sure Todd Grantham will still be the defensive coordinator for the Bulldogs, I'd say it's a good time for a mailbag.

It's a perfect time: I have now seen almost every Oscar-nominated film, with "Zero Dark Thirty" the last on the checklist, so I can now speak forcefully and expertly about the Academy Awards.

But, on the off chance that you'd prefer to discuss something related to Georgia sports, or even sports in general, I welcome those questions too.
