Warrants obtained for man in Thursday Macon shooting

Macon police have obtained warrants for a man accused of shooting a 32-year-old man in the face early Thursday morning at 1325 Triple Hill Drive.

Martinez Collins, who was shot once in the shoulder during the incident, will be charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to a police news release.

Collins allegedly shot Andrew Burney once in the face at about 2:30 a.m.
