A forum to help familiarize local businesses and providers of services and products that Macon and Bibb County will be purchasing for operations and SPLOST projects will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Jan. 31 at Macon City Hall in the council chambers.

Attendees will be provided with a list of SPLOST and other projects to give them opportunities for their businesses to acquire contracts to provide services.

Several agencies will be present to provide technical assistance to businesses that may need help in areas, such as bonding, insurance, financing, bookkeeping, and estimating.
