Federal grand jurors have indicted a Cordele woman on allegations she used stolen identities to file false income tax returns.
The indictment charges Kimberly Michelle Banks, 40, with aggravated identity theft and wire fraud, according to a release from the U.S. Attorneys Office. The indictment was returned Jan. 8.
Banks allegedly filed the false tax returns and claimed refunds to which she wasnt entitled.
