The third public forum scheduled for the Second Street Downtown Corridor is being held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday night.
The session will be held at the Middle Georgia Regional Commission, 175 Emery Highway, Suite C.
The design meeting will help efforts already under way to build a master plan that creates a walkable and livable corridor connection from east Macon through downtown to Mercer University and eventually to the Macon Mall area and Middle Georgia State College.
The Second Street Downtown Corridor is being funded by proceeds from the special purpose local option sales tax.
