Four people charged in the October embezzlement scheme and slaying of a Macon legal secretary pleaded not guilty at an arraignment held Wednesday, District Attorney David Cooke confirmed.

Tracy Michelle Jones, 38, of Macon, Keith Anthony Dozier, 23, of Warner Robins, and step-siblings Courtney Nicole Kelly, 23, and Michael Brett Kelly, 18, are charged with murder in the Oct. 5 death of Gail Spencer, 58, inside her Stinsonville Road home.

Jones, Dozier and the Kellys also are charged with aggravated assault, burglary, false imprisonment and theft.

The group allegedly stole more than $1 million from Macon’s Pinkston & Associates law firm where Jones and Spencer worked.
