Officers found 23-year-old Kemeron Taylor lying in a front yard down the street shortly after 5:20 p.m., according to a Macon police report.

Witnesses identified Taylor’s uncle, Mark Taylor, 41, as the shooter who got out of a brown and white van, wounded his nephew in the left side of his chest and got in the van and drove off.

The elder Taylor is a black man about 6 feet tall and weighing 250 pounds. He was wearing black pants and a green shirt at the time of the shooting, the release stated.

Investigators signed an arrest warrant for Taylor and issued a lookout Wednesday morning.
