Fort Valley gas station sells winning $250,000 lottery ticket

A Fort Valley gas station sold a winning lottery ticket to a trucker from Butler.

Dantavious Harris matched the first five winning numbers from the Jan. 8 Mega Millions ticket he bought at Five Points Gas N Go to win $250,000, according to a news release from the Georgia Lottery. The store is located at 101 Vineville St.

Harris, who is married with four children, has no immediate plans for the money, the release states.

Tuesday’s Mega Millions jackpot is estimated at $62 million.
