Hawks hit the road

The Atlanta Hawks try to get back on track with a road game against the Chicago Bulls (8 p.m., SportSouth).

Others to watch: Mercer women’s basketball team at North Florida (7 p.m.).

TUESDAY

High school basketball

Several strong matchups dot the Middle Georgia schedule, including Wilkinson County at FPD, Westside at Howard, Tattnall Square at Deerfield-Windsor and Veterans at Perry.

WEDNESDAY

Looking to bounce back

The Georgia Bulldogs have struggled out of the gate with two losses in SEC play. They travel to Missouri at 8 p.m.

Others to watch: Brooklyn Nets at Atlanta Hawks (7:30 p.m., SportSouth).

THURSDAY

Tough test on the road

Georgia Tech looks to snap its   three-game losing streak when it travels to Duke (9 p.m., ESPN).

Others to watch: East Tennessee State at Mercer (7 p.m., 96.5-FM).

FRIDAY

Familiar foe

The Atlanta Hawks face Brooklyn for the second straight game, this time on the road (7:30 p.m., SportSouth).

Others to watch: High school basketball (Westside at Mary Persons, Arlington Christian at Westfield, Veterans at Rutland, Warner Robins at Jones County).

SATURDAY

A-Sun showdown

The Mercer Bears face off with the USC Upstate Spartans in a key game in the A-Sun race (4:30 p.m., 96.5-FM).

Others to watch: College basketball (LSU at Georgia, 8 p.m., Cox Sports TV); San Antonio Spurs at Atlanta Hawks (7 p.m., SportSouth); High school basketball (Veterans at Warner Robins, Perry at Peach County).

SUNDAY

NFC championship game

The Atlanta Falcons host the San Francisco 49ers for the right to go to the Super Bowl (3 p.m., FOX).

Others to watch: New England hosts Baltimore in the AFC championship game (6:30 p.m., CBS).
