Published: January 9, 2013

Deputies from Bibb and Monroe counties issued more than 100 citations and arrested 18 people over the weekend after serving a search warrant at the Sugar Shack on South Jackson Street in Forsyth about 1 a.m.

Investigators confiscated crack cocaine, marijuana and a large amount of illegal alcohol, according to a news release issued Wednesday by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

Arrests were made on charges ranging from drug offenses and selling alcohol without a license to disorderly conduct and parole violations.

Additional arrest warrants were issued after the Saturday raid.

State probation officers, parole officers and alcohol and gaming agents also helped serve the warrant.
